Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: July 21, 2026
How to disconnect a platform, delete your account, or ask us to erase the data we hold about you — and exactly what happens when you do.
This page is the plain-English version of sections 8 and 11 of our Privacy Policy. There are three ways to have your data removed. Pick whichever matches what you want to achieve.
1. Disconnect one platform
Use this if you want to stop StreamSnipe publishing to a particular YouTube, Instagram or TikTok account, but keep using the rest of the Service.
- Sign in to StreamSnipe and open Profile.
- Find the platform under Connected accounts.
- Press Disconnect.
Immediately, and without any further action from you:
- we revoke our authorisation with that platform, so the permission no longer appears in your account there;
- we delete the stored access and refresh tokens;
- we delete the account identifier and display name we held for it;
- no further videos can be published to it.
2. Delete your whole account
Use this if you want to leave StreamSnipe entirely.
- Sign in and open Profile.
- Scroll to Delete account and press it.
- Confirm with your password.
We revoke every connected platform first, then delete your account, streams, clips, connected accounts and posting history. This cannot be undone. We keep only the records the law requires us to keep — principally billing records, which are held by Paddle for tax and accounting purposes.
3. Revoke from the platform’s own settings
You can also cut off our access from the platform side, without signing in to StreamSnipe at all:
- YouTube / Google — https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, then select StreamSnipe and remove access.
- Instagram — Apps and websites, then remove StreamSnipe.
- TikTok — Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions, then remove StreamSnipe.
Publishing stops immediately. We delete the data affected by that revocation within 30 calendar days.
4. Ask us directly
If you cannot sign in, or you would rather we handled it, email support@mail.streamsnipe.live from the address on your account and tell us what you would like deleted. We action deletion requests within 7 calendar days and will confirm by email when it is done.
What is deleted automatically
You do not need to ask for either of these — they happen on their own:
- Video files. Your uploaded video and the watermarked copy we create are deleted as soon as every selected destination has finished, whether it succeeded or failed. We do not keep a library of your uploads.
- YouTube API data. Anything we obtain from the YouTube API, other than the authorisation tokens themselves, is deleted or refreshed within 30 calendar days.
What we cannot delete
Videos already published to YouTube, Instagram or TikTok at your request live on your own account on that platform. Deleting your data here does not remove them — you can delete them on the platform itself at any time.
Questions
If anything above is unclear, or a deletion did not work as described, contact us at support@mail.streamsnipe.live or through our contact page. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
